Online Courses

The Office of Water Programs offers many online courses based on water and wastewater operator training manual topics. These courses can help new and experienced operators increase job knowledge and meet CEU and contact hour requirements. Each course focuses on a particular aspect of a water or wastewater system, so operators can choose topics related directly to their jobs.

Depending on the online course selected, enrolled students will complete all coursework online or may receive a companion CD containing some course material for use in the online course. Before enrolling in an online course, students should verify that their computers meet system requirements, so required course material can be accessed. Students take final exams online and receive exam results immediately. Students earn 1.8 CEUs/18 contact hours for each online course completed with a passing grade of 70% or higher.
