rodenticide (row-DENT-uh-side)

Any substance or chemical formulated to kill or control rodents.

Right-To-Know laws

Employee right-to-know legislation requires employers to inform employees of the possible health effects resulting from contact with hazardous substances. At locations where this legislation is in force, employers must provide employees with information regarding any hazardous substances they might be exposed to under normal work conditions or reasonably foreseeable emergency conditions resulting from workplace conditions. OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard (HCS; Title 29 CFR Part 1910.1200) is the federal regulation and state statutes are called Worker Right-To-Know laws. Also see Community Right-To-Know.

suspended solids

Solids that either float on the surface or are suspended in water or wastewater. When referred to as a waterborne constituent, total suspended solids (TSS) is the quantity of material removed from water or wastewater in a standard laboratory test.
