Operator Training & Education

Who We Are

The Office of Water Programs at the California State University, Sacramento, College of Engineering and Computer Science provides distance learning courses for persons interested in the operation and maintenance of drinking water and wastewater facilities. These training programs were developed by people who explain, through the use of our manuals, how they operate and maintain their facilities. Sacramento State, fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, administers and monitors these training programs, under the direction of Dr. Ramzi J. Mahmood.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING HOLIDAY BUSINESS HOURS:

Our office will be closed:

  • November 26 and 27, 2009, Thanksgiving
  • December 24, 2009 through January 3, 2010, Winter holidays
If you have any tests to be graded and need your results or certificates before we reopen in January, we will need to have your test sheets in our office no later than December 7, 2009. Any test sheets received after this date will not be graded until after January 4, 2010.

NOTICE: Beginning January 1, 2010, customers with orders of fewer than 5 manuals will be charged for shipping within the continental U.S. based on standard UPS rates. For faster delivery, and for delivery to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories, Canada, and other countries, please contact the Office of Water Programs for shipping options.
