Development of Stormwater Monitoring Guidance Documents

Monitoring, data collection, and data reporting for Caltrans stormwater studies must follow very specific procedures to satisfy permit requirements, support research and development needs, provide quality data for load assessment and modeling efforts, provide useful information for watershed planning, and allow for scientifically-sound statistical data quantification. These guidance documents were developed to ensure consistent and high quality data handling.
