This course is designed to provide continuing education for
professional engineers, employees of municipal agencies,
regulatory agencies, developers, construction companies, and
others to increase their knowledge of stormwater best management
practices. Two continuing education units (CEUs) will be awarded
for completing the course.
This course provides general guidance for selecting and
implementing BMPs to reduce pollutants in runoff in newly
developed areas and redeveloped areas to waters of the state.
Topics covered include planning for new development and
redevelopment, site and facility design for water quality
protection, source control BMPs, treatment control BMPs, and
long-term maintenance of BMPs.
