- Inspect fluoridation equipment.
- Start up a chemical feeder.
- Operate and maintain a chemical feeder.
- Calculate fluoride dosages.
- Prepare fluoride solutions.
- Develop and keep accurate fluoride log sheets.
- Prevent overfeeding of fluoride.
- Shut down chemical feed systems.
- Safely handle fluoride compounds.
The main purpose of this chapter is to teach operators how to safely operate and maintain fluoridation processes.
